1BitPixl is a professional DJ who is rocking out the Traktor Kontrol S4. I am also an electronic music producer who uses a few different DAW softwares, though, his favourite is his precious Ableton Live.

1BitPixl started as a hobbyest who started off mucking around on the iPod Touch with an app called 'Djay' made by a company called Algoriddim.

Back then, he was also into game designing and coding. Of coarse, he upgraded to a Macbook Pro. While he did a lot of his coding and game designing, he also had a big passion for music and loved a lot of the records from OWSLA, Skrillex's label. So, intrigued in how they made a lot of their music, he did what anyone who had access to the internet would of... he googled "How to make dubstep".

He then got really into it and became more focused on music creation then coding or game designing. He found out that Mac's come with Garageband (Looking back on the program now, it's quite limiting to all the programs I have now) and started making simple MIDI loops within Garageband. He quickly became bored of the repetition of just making the loops and then making a song out of the VERY basic tools that Garageband has on offer, so he downloaded the trail version of Ableton Live.

When he installed it, he was mind blown! So many things you could do! And he loved the simplicity of it all and yet, if you wanted to, you could go so much deeper!

Since then, 1BitPixl has released 1 EP, 1 album and is currently working on finishing is latest album 'Promises' and is also currently working on his 28th song. He has performed at a few small parties and some pretty big gigs with 200+ people.
