Catching the music scene by surprise in 2009, this Adelaide based indie-pop septet exploded onto the stage. Shamelessly happy and infectiously catchy, 20th Century Graduates are like a shot of raspberry cordial - so sugary sweet they'll make your eyes water and have you bouncing off the walls.

In January of 2010 the band played the 'Hot Produce' stage at the Adelaide BIG DAY OUT. They've supported the likes of Spoon (USA), The Coronas (Ireland) as well as some of Australia’s freshest and finest touring acts including Cloud Control, Leader Cheetah, Old Man River, Eagle & The Worm and The Seabellies, grabbing the attention of audiences and the industry alike.

2011 is set to be The Graduates' biggest year to date. In February the band performed as part of the curated "Fuse @ Fringe" showcase for the 2011 FUSE FESTIVAL music conference, sharing the stage with the likes of John Steel Singers and other emerging national talent.

First single "Keeping Up With The Jones'" has attracted interest from both commercial radio, as well as the Home & Hosed program on Triple J.

Debut EP ‘Parking Inspectors Are People Too’ is available now.

for me it's not a complete track, but it definitely highlights the large pool of talent these Graduates obviously have on offer. A band I'll be keen ...

The vocals could be a bit stronger, but the music is light, breezy and really, really endearing. A totally cute tune.
