Kane Wilson is an Auckland based electronic beat maker who produces and performs under the synonym Animator. With tunes experimenting in a wide range of styles his multi-genre sound is often hard to explain without delving in for yourself. Releasing almost all his music for free download via bandcamp, 2012 has seen a remix for fellow producer DJ and co-creator of online radio station Budgie Collective, Square Eyes, released on UK breaks label Scarcity Records.

Currently back in the studio working on another release planned for early 2013, FUTURE-PRESENT is a creation of field recordings worked into the usual bass driven sound we have become accustomed to. It goes without saying that, even off the mic Animator is one to keep an eye on.
