Unearthed Artists We Like: The Rubens

Arielle has been writing music and performing most of her life. She is continually drawing inspiration from her love of traveling and foreign cultures. With family living in both Asia and Europe, she has always had access to many diverse types of music, creating an extremely varied taste in music from classical to trance, indie to german rock. A majority of her songs draw on the experiences of traveling and working around the world solo for the last 5 years, the friendships created, love, loss, hardships, lonliness, new families found, being reunited and reminiscing. She has been trained clasically in piano and vocals and has taught herself guitar. She has also learnt Japanese and Portuguese through school and travels. Her true joys in life are music, travel and sports. Preferrably all three united! In her spare time she regularly goes rock climbing, target shooting, wakeboarding, snowboarding and scuba diving. She loves nothing more than dancing up a storm at nightclubs and parties around the world, meeting new people and sharing stories of their lives, dreams and cultures. Music is her passion and a way to share her experiences, especially when language is a barrier.
