7hrtz

In 2004 7hrtz playing under the name lucid formed with Brad Hennessey, Brenton Meynell and Nathan Brown. For their first recording the band changed its name to 7hrtz and bought in the vocal talents of Travis Treloar and recorded (overyou written by B,Meynell). The band soon landed their first DVD release through Billabong on their first in house DVD Passion Pop. To make this even better 7hrtz where chosen over Regurgitater and other national artists to have the feature song on the DVD. After the success of this DVD the boys where soon asked if the song could be used on MX Magazines DVD Behind Bars where it was put on as the second song on the DVD. Overyou has also been used on a number of short films and preview clips.

When Brad was offered an excellent opportunity with a world leading record label unfortunately he had to leave the band with to many time constraints. This was an excellent opening for long time soloist Vince Sanhueza to join the boys of 7hrtz, and he blended in straight away.

The boys all went traveling in 2007 and took 9 months off but on return to the Gold Coast started building their own recording Studio now opened under the name Halfway Studios (it is exactly halfway between Brisbane and Byron Bay). With the studio completed in July 2008 the boys didn't take long to start work on their first album.

7hrtz has so far demoed 12 songs and started recording of the first 2 songs for the up coming album.

Keep your eyes on this site and our myspace site for sneak previews of the album due late 2008 early 2009 and also keep an eye on christmas DVD release's for more of our tracks on your favorite extreme sport DVD's
