Brisbane trio BUICK SIX play a catchy garage rock tune, typical of something that might upset your neighbours. The lads are happy playing with their familiar sound, writing songs reminicent of early You Am I, MC5 and White Stripes. Humble with their acheivements, they have so far supported some pretty cool acts, such as: TAME IMPALA, GRAFTON PRIMARY, THE SILENTS, HUNGRY KIDS OF HUNGRY, NUMBERS RADIO... they tell us the list goes on. May 2009 saw them support their idols, YOU AM I and reach a older, younger audience by playing a main stage slot at GREENFEST in early June. Their maturity and confidence on stage has seen them receive mixed reviews labelling them "a great band with a solid future" - fasterlouder.com.au, to "bluntly monotonous" - rave magazine. Regardless of opinions, Nick, Griffin and John are 3 kids in their (very) early 20's that have gained a strong local following, who play around 13 songs in a 35min set, and rock.
