This Frozen Star was initially a four-man skeleton assembled from the bones of several dead indie projects. Hailing from Brisbane, Australia, they have spent the best part of six months fleshing out the details and becoming a real band. During that time they rehearsed and recorded an EP at Airlock Studios, and played enough shows to be able to put in a reliably electrifying live performance.

Songs are inspired by predictable things such as doomed and frustrated love, as well as less predictable things like franchise steakhouses and electric grandmothers.

The results: Nervous rock spliced together with delicate beauty. Psychedelic postcards from the darker side of midnight. Intergalactic gunslingers kicking ass and taking names.

They say five listens are worth 1000 stupid descriptions.
