“I have listened to the EP about three times and must say that I am impressed with the sound and emotion contained within the compositions.” - Peter Merritt, 106.7 PBSfm.

Ten years since they played an awful, one-off, gig in middle school in Singapore, Aki and Kota bumped into each other by total chance on the streets of Melbourne and decided that it was fate’s way of telling them to start a band that "doesn't suck".

They called their new band Aural Window and have since built an army of loyal fans with their post-hardcore sensitivities, rocking out Melbourne venues like Ding Dong Lounge, HiFi Bar, and the Esplanade.

The band launched their debut EP, No Trust in the Morrow, in 2007 at a jam-packed Arthouse in Melbourne.

Tracks from the EP have enjoyed high rotations on Melbourne community radio PBS106.7 and SYN90.7, as well as US-based radio TLP Show, New York’s WMSC 90.3 FM (No.1 on alt-indie chart) and Japan’s FM Cocolo (on-air guests in April 2008).

On their recent East Coast tour with Japanese industrial rock band, BLOOD, Aural Window’s explosive performance impressed the promoter of Canadian band, The Birthday Massacre, that he asked the band to play support for their Australian tour in November.

With a new EP in the works and a Japan tour planned for next year, Aural Window is poised for big things in 2009.

An emotive piece that captures the listener with a gentle sorrow and melodic beauty that one would hope to hear in all musical works. Truly a master...
