Hello!

I am Dan Carraway—principal tambourinist in rock-and-roll band, The Thod. Although I cannot speak for the other seven members of the band, I personally am glad to have made your acquaintance. But let me get to the point:

I need your help.

It is a tremulous time for rock and roll music. With citizens rapidly tiring of the twelve-bar-blues, and a number of teenagers exploring turntabling, sampling and disco beat, the popularity of the devil’s music wanes.

I shall suffice to say that the band of which I am currently a part has made an executive decision to enter these recent genre-wars. In this vain, we have begun the construction of a rather large wall-of-sound (comprising principally of hollow-body electrics, a resonator, bass, keys, drums, etc.), which we hope will be a key defence in said war.

Yet despite the creation of the aforementioned wall, foot soldiers and cannon fodder are still required if victory is to ever be obtained. So I thus implore you to join my band, The Thod, in the quest to unleash the terror that is rock-and-roll music back onto a frightened and unsuspecting populace.

Regards,
Dan Carraway and The Thod
