Running Gun Sound banged their way out of the East Brisbane cottage scene in 2008. In the years following, the band have had more fights than records, and more make-ups than '7th Heaven'.

Taking the long road to pop city, Running Gun Sound make songs for early 90s model Ford Lasers. Their new record, 'FRIENDS', is all about life in the fast lane. The pop is good—like Orange Juice, with extra bubbles on a stinking sub-tropical Brisbane afternoon.

Running Gun Sound have played with Straight Arrows, Rat Vs Possum, Super Wild Horses, Quan Yeomans, the Sulphur Lights, Butcher Birds, Chinese Burns, and Nova Scotia.

The new record, 'FRIENDS', is available now.
