8 Bit Love are an electronic/dance band from Melbourne who have been working hard over the last couple of years. With a few cool trophies under their belt, such as an APRA Songwriters Award and the VicRocks Get Equipped Grant, the band have been tucked away for the last few months letting their creative juices flow into what will be their sophomore EP, In 3D.

Having received great feedback on their previous EP Super Mario Lovers, and their Double A-Side Rock The Digressers released last year, In 3D also explores some new sounds and styles, while still encapsulating the energetic, guitar-driven, electronic dance-rock that 8 Bit Love have become known for.

With a live show that can be described as a boisterous frenzy of cow-bell playing, screaming and dancing, their tunes are sure to get stuck in people’s heads. After sharing stages with the likes of Jebediah, Tim and Jean, The Vines and Muscles as well as playing Parklife, Push Over and The Hills Are Alive, 8 Bit Love are winning over the hearts of punters across town.

Bad Taste is the first (bad) taste of what is to come from the new EP, which will hit your ears late October.

Bad Taste

It's like it's a pop song with a heavy electronic facelift. Always a fan of the strut-beat too.

Rock The Boat

You guys turn it on once again with this immediate and insistent jam. The chorus is as simplistic as you could hope for but it's pretty difficult to ...
