Craig Hansen and the Missendens began as a solo project from Craig Hansen, who after a long 'nearly made it' rock and roll story with his former band ran out of steam, figured he'd step up to the mic from songwriting and guitar duties to sing as well.

With a bag full of songs, and long time friend and fellow music obsessee Adam Griffiths on board with bass duties, Craig turned to YouTube to find that elusive element to complete a recording line up to bight the bullet and record an album.

There he found Japanese drumming virtuoso Keigo Endo, a phenomenally talented resident of Tokyo with near cult status on the internet for his drumming videos, who booked a flight to Sydney for the recording session on hearing some of Craig's home recorded demos.

Recorded at Camperdown's Trackdown Studios with former Thirsty Merc lead guitarist Sean Carey engineering and co-producing with Craig, the forthcoming album 'Open Up' was recorded in 8 days.

Just so much to like about this track, such well constructed, infectious pop-rock. I dare you to not be nodding along by the end, I dare you.
