Jack Froggatt is not just another folk act. The Sydney-based songwriter, who performs under the moniker of Revier, acoustically channels rock, blues, country and folk elements into his marvelously unique sound.

Not often can you find a musician who has just as much power behind his strong story-conveying lyrics as his lilting guitar melodies. But this is the depth of one Jack Froggatt, who’s music has taken him from the humble back deck, to residency at Chelsea Tea House, and on to some of Sydney’s finest haunts. After a recent Pine Street Recording Session, Revier’s profile is growing with haste, and taking him further across the city and into radio airplay.
