Regicide write songs about serious issues like cannibals in love.. and eating each other, zombie surfers, ending relationships with Communists, con-men fleeing to Rio, dancing in bomb shelters to forget about war and how much work sucks.

If you like dancing with bears and elephants and some wicked rock you should definitely check them out!!

The True History and Future of Regicide...

In the year 2020 posers, try-hards and dickheads had finally killed music as we knew it. Rock was dead and the world was a very terrible place. A mass plague of boredom swept the earth and people were carking-it left right and centre.

The world leader at the time was a Dancing Bear named Bower B. Bear. He was very upset that without rock, he could not dance.. But he quickly remembered listening to JJJ many years before. His favourite host Dools was a robot sent back in time to dance. (Even though Bower had beat Dools in a Dance-Off at Adam and Wil's Final Broadcast)

So he called upon his faithful Elephant friend Lukephant to send some robots back in time with a mission to ROCK and to save the future of all mankind. Together they were called Regicide!!

He sent them back to Sydney in the year 2006. Instantly they began making a name for themself - mixing vocals, guitar, bass, drums, sax, trombone, trumpet and keys and winning over all their crowds by sending magnetic pulses of "Rock Music" through their dancing feet.

Regicide went on to win every band competition they entered. (Including Macquarie Uni's Band Comp 2006 and beating 53 other bands to be crowned Club 77's Band Competition Champions.)

The band also launched a spectacular debut EP 'Tales of the Mildly Surprising' to a sell out crowd.

The Bear and Elephant danced with happiness to all their favourite Regicide songs... They knew the world was saved.

This song is just simple songwriting common sense. It's also I hell of a lot of fun to skank to.
