Caleb Skips Chemistry is a rock outfit based in the coastal city of Newcastle. The boys are passionate performers who are renowned for their intense live show.

The beginning of Caleb Skips Chemistry heralded a new beginning on the burgeoning scene of the Hunter Valley. Since early beginnings in 2005 the group have finished their schooling, and moved onto bigger and better things with their relocation to Newcastle and the release and subsequent tour of their debut EP ‘Battles Begun’.

The music has been compared to the grunge sound of the 90’s crossed with a more contemporary blend of ‘LA influenced heaviness’. A prominent left-wing consciousness is obvious to the avid listener, with the lyrical content you will not hear on main stream propaganda.

If you stumble across a [CSC] show in any dive across NSW you’ll be witness to an almost unnatural visage. ‘Womb baby’ and an assortment of other disembodied ‘rock mannequins’, spray painted lights & body parts splattered across the stage with front man Sam Parmeter (affectionately known amongst friends as Bunny Jupiter) in an almost hypnotic state, convulsing and ranting amongst the wreckage – with their cult-like fan-base stalking the bands every move with awe in anticipation for more acts of the utmost extreme.

[CSC] are a youthful bunch who can (and will) take the mickie out of themselves (and eachother), but who have a serious underlying intent that shows through their sound. They are four middle class lads who refuse to be stuck in the hum-drum of the every day nine to five forever and whose love for (hot) passionate, musical intercourse is un-paralleled in the local scene.

With their powerful work ethic, passion, and astonishing stage show – the boys message will (and already is, for some) being heard in the hearts of many in the scene. This show is not for the faint hearted – it’s for those who love music, love sound, love art, and love thought
