Although I have been writing songs for quite some time the songs I have uploaded are most recently produced. One of my motivations is a comment “Why do you write music? You’re wasting your time!” At the time I had no real answer to give , but now my main inspiration is from my two boys. I play for them every time I see them, and music brings them so much joy.
My eldest son has sat next to me playing guitar since he was two. This is what drives me to record and perform.

Music has been with me since I can remember; I started playing drums at 7, and with Phill Collins & Ringo Starr showing me the way I was hooked. As I got older I developed very different tastes in music from my friends. I loved all types of music from Country to Heavy Metal & R&B.

My drumming sessions lasted till I was 15, no fault of mine but the neighbours had enough! So I guess taking up the guitar was the next step and then came the Piano & Bass, which I constantly use to help write and construct music from a different perspective.

I have played most of my material in Open Mic sessions over the last 4 years and enjoyed every minute of it. I have also been involved in many cover bands in the last 10 years and played gigs at various venues in Sydney.
My music gives me two pleasures. Creating a song form one chord and one word, and then performing that song as it’s own creation.

The material you will hear is “raw & natural” recorded on a ZOOM 10 Track machine and Noise Gate Studio @ Castle Hill, Mixed by Recce and the Drumming was done by Dean V. These creations were conceived in the early hours of the morning during a tough time in my life.
