A fusion of melodic hard rock and riff-laden metal with influences from progressive to contemporary alternative rock; It is played by impassioned musicians who listen to such a variety of styles and bands that it would be impossible to name them all, Tentative formed in early 2005 to bring an element of substance back to their beloved rock music.
Founding members Todd Robinson (Lead Guitar), Will Brook (Bass) and Angus Fitz-Bugden (Vocals) with Mick Crellin (Drums), a uni friend of Todd and Wills this makes the Tentative line-up as we know it today.
Tentative garnered more support in the local Lismore area with their high-energy, blistering live shows playing everywhere from parties to pubs and everywhere in between.
2006 Tentative entered Top Cat studios in Alstonville to record their debut EP- “Just Quietly”. The EP was mastered at 301 studios in Sydney by much acclaimed Don Bartley and will hopefully see a release date later this year.
Tentative’s passion for their craft and dedication to their music will hopefully inspire listeners with songs about everyday life experiences that anyone can relate to.
