SLICK46 are a working class, street punk band based in Melbourne, Australia.

After forming in late 1998, Slick46 have went on to establish themselves as one of Australia’s hardest working & now longest running, independent street punk rock bands.
During this time the band has always been busy, writing new material, recording, playing countless shows in Melbourne, as well as repetedly touring to major cities all over Australia. Also In recent years the Band has sucessfully toured the west coast & south western states of the U.S three times.

Tim (Guitar) Owen (Bass) & Paul (Drums) have produced a number of releases including the ‘Kicked Out Of Everywhere’ E.P.1999 (out of print) “Stand In Line’ E.P. 2001 & the ‘Move Aside’ E.P. 2006.
As a result of Slick46’s 2007 U.S tour, the band established a working relationship with U.S street punk label Longshot Music. Longshot went on to release Slick46’s ‘I Don’t Wanna’ album & a split 7’’ vinyl with U.S band the Harrington Saints in 2008. That year slick46 teamed up with the Harrington Saints for a west coast U.S.A tour.

After more than ten years with the band, Owen decided to pursue other interests, playing his last show in April 2009. Flea now joined on bass & the band went on to record the ‘Young Love’ E.P released on Longshot Music & also Contra Records in Germany. Slick46 toured the U.S to promote their new record in late 2009.

For 2010, Slick46 are preparing to tour Australia extensively to promote ‘Yong Love ’ as well as writing new songs for a split 7’’ to be released late 2010 & a new E.P for 2011.
