After several years with a drummer under the name of "Scapegrace", Jehan spent a year in Latin America where he improved his vocal and compositional abilities. Upon his return, he decided to go solo while the drummer (Nick Ernest) was overseas to learn how to make the most full sound. The result was a rhythmic sound based on other soloists such as Nick Drake and Jose Gonzalez.
