Rock, Blues, Jazz, Latin, are all what we play, and we put all of it into each song we write. We love gigging and jamming wherever we can, and it's all in the name of fun.
We started off doing AC/DC and Rolling Stones covers, but soon moved onto better things when we all took an interest in writing.
We got David Barnes on guitar and he really brought a lot of new ideas into play, and still writes some of the best stuff. We wrote our first song with him, "Wondergoal Tango Salsa," and it's still our favourite track. He's a great rhythm or lead player, and plays the trumpet as well as practically anything else he can get his hands on.
Mitch and Nick are brothers, and Nick is ultimately far cooler, (and of course, writing this.) However Mitch is a great drummer, and his style can be either understated and jazzy, or so in you're face (and ears) you can't be in the same room as his drumming. He can play anything between light jazz to heavy metal.
Nick mostly plays rhythm guitar, although occasionally has a solo. Although most people think that the rhythm guitarist is the less talented, this is not always the case. Nick is a fantastic musician and does a lot at organising everything to do with the band. He also plays awesome Sax when we need it. ( written by Mitch)
Yann came in when our previous bass player left, just prior to a gig, and he's a great asset to the band. Not only does he provide a really solid bass line, he also writes cool metal bass lines and has the technical know how of recording.
Tim has the sometimes sparse job of playing keyboards, and he is brilliant at it. He composes on his own and with the band, and his ideas are always cool. Aside from keys, he plays percussion when Mitch is drumming, and without him the band would lose a really valuable texture muso, and it wouldn't be anywhere near as good without his subtle sound.
Lindsay is the newest addition (making us 6 piece). He sings in a variety of choirs, but we've got a hold of him and his voice, and we're making him use it for our own ends. He sings really clearly and well, but he's not a full on choir boy. Hes a cool guy, and not afraid to screw around with music. Also, good at making up lyrics on the spot. Particularly about brocoli.
And thats the band!
