Disco Knights formed in the summer of '06 in Brisbane, John Ross and Dan Black decided to host a house party named Hot as Summer, and their unique blend of tech house struck a chord with the party goers. One party led to another and soon enough Posh Saturdays in Woollongabba became their regular gig throughout 2007. The Knights later moved on the play at their own weekly club night, Fang, hosted by Alhambra and this saw them playing along side local Brisbane DJ Matt Wang. Since they finished Fangin' it, they have joined forces with studio guru Tom Baker, who shone a new light on their production and remix work. The Knights have also featured at the Empire Moon Bar, Caxton Hotel, Grass Party, The Rockhampton New Years Eve Festival, Stickin, National You Week, Hotel L.A. and Shamrock Hotel. John Ross has played at Family and Press Club, whilst Dan Black has been seen spinning at the Sundae Sessions by the river at Brisbane Powerhouse. Disco Knights are now moving further into production while keeping the wax turning.
