Go/No-Go are 5 people, 3 synths, 3 guitars, 2 drum kits making danceable, rousing tunes, infused with the emotive quality of bands we grew up with in the eighties like Icehouse and Simple Minds. Take that nostalgic vibe and combine it with more contemporary influences as diverse Bloc Party, Interpol, Klaxons, LCD Sound System, Midnight Juggernauts, Cut Copy and you have a band where the phrases “they remind me of…” or “they sound like…”
become a little extraneous.

The band’s sound draws on a unique combination of the anarchic trashiness of neu rave, the energy of indie-dance/electro-clash overlaid with new wave tones.

Members of Go/No-Go have variously played with 'Sarah Blasko', 'The Devoted Few', 'The Cops' and '78 SAAB'.

THE BAND
Steve Claxton - Vocals, Guitar, Keys
Daniel Arena - Guitar, Keys
Tarek Darwish - Bass
Nicholai Danko - Drums
Steve Allison - Drums, Electronic Percussion, Keys

Wonderful voice on the lead singer/guitarist!! The drummer is right in there driving the number. Lyrics are very catchy! Cool players...
