Between The Devil And The Deep
Genre: Punk, Rock
Region: Sydney, NSW
Members: Jay Gleeson - vocals, Tim George - guitar, Mat Hermanns - guitar, Dave Drayton - bass, Damien Elliott - drums & vocals
Sounds Like: At The Drive In, the Nation Blue, Refused
Influences: Fugazi, At The Drive In, These Arms Are Snakes

With a cathartic miasma of caustic vocals layered over guitars that spin between heavy riffs and intertwining melodies, the production of Lachlan Mitchell (Jezabels, I Exist) has ably captured the tumultuous 3 years of song writing, wiped hard drives, child births and line up changes that have produced the 40 minutes of earnest post-hardcore that is "Paper Spine", the band's first full length album.

Throughout 2011 their impressive live show saw them share stages with internationals and locals including the likes of The Get Up Kids, La Dispute, Bridge & Tunnel, Heavy Heavy Low Low, No Trigger, Such Gold, Coerce and The Nation Blue.

This is pure post-hardcore awesomeness. It's like Fugazi or Ohana but amplified a million times.
