Sounds Like: Violent Femmes, The Eels, Mountain Goats

Based in Melbourne. No one knows exactly when Store Bought Cool started, like an unplanned romance with a hot, but slightly psychotic ex, its been on again and off again for years, each time with new passion. Store Bought Cool's live performances are full of energy and rapidly switch between genres and moods from bright happy twee pop to doomy gothic country yet they somehow manage to tie it all together and keep your attention throughout. This makes them well suited to audiences with eclectic tastes and short attention spans. What they lack in polish they make up for with in personality (multiple personalities).

Recorded at live Head Gap Studios with no over dubs and no bullshit, Store Bought Cool will launch there first single - The Wild / No Mystery as a limited edition 7" in November 2010. Dates TBA. In the meantime you can find tracks at http://www.triplejunearthed.com/ on itunes, cdbaby and where all good digital downloads are sold.
