The Smitten
Genre: Pop, Indie
Region: Melbourne, VIC
Members: Michael Barton - Acoustic Guitar, Vocals; Greg "Moose" Round - Bass; Matt Welch - Electric Guitar, Vocals; David Kean - Drums
Sounds Like: Gomez, Crowded House, Frente
Influences: Everything

The Smitten don't stay in the one place for very long, one minute they're folked out, the next they're countryfied, then popping in all directions.
With a mix of four very different musicians and even more instruments, they tell melodic stories of life and love, all while they have fixated smiles on their faces.

With the warm vocal stylings of Bartron, the well crafted guitar twidlings of Matt, the master of melodica and bass, Moose, and finally the driving shuffle and well poised timing of the drummer Dave; The Smitten will leave you smitten with them everytime.
