Attacking relentlessly through the soundscape of Seattle Grunge fused with a vicious northern-english punk attitude, The Love Junkies are a band moving at the grunge underground forefront. Influenced by hard times and heavy homes, The Love Junkies band member cohesiveness is paralleled to few. Driving this attitude in both stage and studio, their limits have gone out the window, helping to develop some creative and exciting sounds.
With an average age of 19, Their brutal youth runs adjacent to their mature songwriting capabilities. Electric, Mitch McDonald swings with the swagger of an early angry Craig Nichols with the confidence of a seasoned veteran. Tearing at the strings McDonald sweats High-Octane flavors of low shallows, and heartbreak. The talented rhythm sectioned by manic and hard-hitting Lewis Walsh and shotgun bassist Robbie Rumble harness a raw playing style, cutting hit points with a fine toothed comb.
With the musical world shifting towards the dynamic trio, The Love Junkies vintage sound, will hopefully become the new.
