Admitting their slightly left of the middle approach to everything, Salty have racked up supports from the Sophie 'damn, I wish I was your lover' B Hawkins to the gorgeous Katie Noonan with Elixir & Marie Wilson among many others.

Salty released their debut album 'Just Because' in June 06 to a sell-out crowd and have been turning heads with their own brand of vintage tinged tube-amp style subtle rock.
Hitting their 2 year anniversary this year, they've played obscure festivals and alternate venues all over the country as well as featuring strongly in local radio charts along with national radio support.

Starting out as a solo project, the band formed a while later and fell right into the groove just outside alternate indie pop. Touring up and down the east coast and across regional SA, mixing it up with all sorts of genres from heavy metal to acoustic folk, their music seemed to fit in wherever they played.

Loosely affiliated with the legendary Greasy Pop Records...in the mean time they've disapeared into the studios to record their 2nd album.

Nice production. Pretty cool guitar sound and sweet vocals - a little Divynals-esk. I like it!

...imagine swaying quite easily not even spilling a drop...this song has some naivety to it...perhaps the lyrics are a little vacuous but I rate it.....
