Jonathan Brain's songs travel the open landscape of the weary soul; with a unique voice described as "extraordinary" by Wire Magazine he paints distinct visions of post-millennial life - the beauty of the everyday, relationships bungled and hearts on the mend.

Playing in his hometown of Perth for the last few years, he has clocked up countless gigs and made a number of critically-received recordings including this year's "Billy the Kid" ep, described by Grok Magazine as "an excursion into sweet alt.country that puts the voice centre stage".

He has recently returned from Melbourne where he shot two music videos which will be released in October.
