Two Bathurst born and bred Mc's looking to start something in a region that to date has traditionally had little opportunities for Hip Hop Acts to hone their craft. Allow us to introduce jakoby-Y & RB.

Like Dylan said, the times they are a changin'.

United by a common love of Hip Hop during an ill fated stay in a share house, they set about bringing the good times back to the local music scene with tongues set firmly in cheek. Playing a combination of originals, as well classics with a definite jakob-Y & RB twist, delivering their entertaining yet insightful lyrics to the silky talents of B-Dub on the 1's and 2's. In a relatively short period of time the duo have gone from strength to strength, beginning with the first ever Live Hip Hop night at the Park Hotel, to a spot on the line up of the always amazing CSU Cinderella Ball, and even a cameo spot at Village Fair 2010! Culminating with their biggest gig yet, supporting Urthboy at the Bathurst Entertainment Centre!

Realising that supporting such an icon of Australian music ain't no small thing, the boys felt they also had to step it up a level. Which is why they've assembled a live band to bring the noise! They even acquired the services of a horn section! All from the overflowing pools of local talent in Thurst City.
