Daniel Lee Kendall (DLK) did not plan for this. But it is perhaps this unintended beginning to things that endows his story with such understated genius. It is quite simple; after an evening spent drinking wine and enjoying the company of fine friends and fine musicians alike, Daniel penned a song. His first song. The layered melodies and textured lyrical landscapes that set Daniel apart began to pour forth, adding slowly to an ever expanding body of work. The best thing it seemed to do was share, with friends and strangers alike, these songs of hope and heartbreak. And here we are, on the cusp of the release of DLK’s debut EP. Listeners are set to be be mesmerised, and taken on a very special journey indeed.
