Why the name DeniM?

For these rocktivists, not only is it one of the most sought after fabric of fashions, it is their fabric of identity. The capitals of D & M in DeniM outline the `deep and meaningful’ aspects of their philosophical and introspective songwriting. A developed signature big-arena sound centered on an energetic live performance. The sound of DeniM is the unique singing, panoram-melodic guitars; big driving-well grounded drums and raw vocals delivering spiritual-thought-provoking lyrics.

DeniM has played over 200 live shows in some of Sydney’s leading venues such as the Bondi Winter Music Festival, The Metro, Gaelic Club, Annandale Hotel & the Lansdowne; touring has them play across NSW & interstate at National Theatre St. Kilda, and the Uni. Bar in Hobart. They have produced 3 EP’s, Lighthouse, Just Can’t Stop and the latest Take the Music & Run and the music has enjoyed growing success winning the 2006 Laney band competition; receiving airplay on 94.5FBi & 88.1 2RDJ radio; been featured on compilations such as ‘Live @ the Cat II’, Droughbuster, the Hitman movie & in various documentaries by Warrior Films. It has been shown on community TV station TVS programs the Couch & Italian Guide.

With their ‘Take the Music & Run’ attracting Indie record Labels both in their home land Australia and in the U.S. DeniM is now working on their first full album with Aria-award producer/engineer Anton Hagop on board.

DeniM is committed and focused on their live performance and communicating with their audience.
