E.E.S., Wagga Wagga's original hip-hop crew, is a duo comprised of MC Kris-Bo and MC Shelly.H. The boys are of Aboriginal and New Zealand heritage respectively. A lot has changed in the E.E.S. camp since they first started. Over the last 4 years they have been refining their beat making skills and rhyming style and continue to wow crowds at local pubs and clubs with a fresh, light hearted approach to hip-hop. The guys never fail to captivate crowds with their energetic stage presence, funky beats and clever rhymes.

E.E.S. first seriously started getting into hip-hop in 2004, but it wasn’t until 2005 when Kris moved back to Wagga Wagga that things started moving fast. After rocking a few pubs the boys realised they can't be that bad, so this year they decided to enter TripleJUnearthed.com and to their surprise, won the first unearthed.com competition! As a result the boys rocked the Strikeback festival in Newcastle and funky, toe tapping track "Rhythm and Rhyme" received some nice rotation on the Triple J airwaves.

The boys have received some great feedback from TripleJUnearthed.com:

"These guys are the real deal. Seriously smooth hip hop flow. Highly recommended."
- Chris Scaddan, Triple J Program Director

"I came across these guys about 4 months ago. This track hooked me in. I like the organic feel of the track and the delivery is spot on"
- Richard Kingsmill, Triple J Music Director

The main focus of the duo right now is the completion of their debut Album titled “Eric > You”.

The road ahead looks bright for E.E.S., having played along side The Hilltop Hoods, The Herd, Blissneso, TZU, Butterfingers, True Live, John Butler Trio, You Am I, Something For Kate, The Sleepy Jackson, Wolf and Cub, The Fumes, Hyjak n Torcha, Muph n Plutonic, Phrase & DJ Flagrant, The Winnie Coopers, and more certainly a step in the right direction to spreading the love that is Australian Hip-Hop.

The two members can rap rather fast and very well. However they don't sound very passionate in what they're doing, it sounds more like they're readin...
