Sea Legs have exploded their way into the Australian indie market with outstanding reviews!

Hailing from the humble holiday spot of Bateau Bay on the NSW Central Coast, Sea Legs were born after their previous project pulled the plug. That band was indie dance act Modern Joy which featured two sets of brothers Byron and Cameron ‘Pepa’ Knight and Cail and Jacob Borg.

When Pepa's side-project Jinja Safari took off in mid-2010, the band were naturally divided, which seen to Byron and Cail forming indie quartet Sea Legs (Jacob would later join Jinja also).
Since forming, Sea Legs have been in state of perpetual motion with their crisp indie-pop built on gleaming guitars, crystalline synth and Byron’s spirited vocals and colourful stage presence.
The band has already toured with amazing Australian acts such as Art Vs Science, Jebediah, Bag Raiders, DZ Deathrays, Violent Soho, Will and the People and Ball Park Music.
The music video for their infectious debut single ‘Boyfriend’ received high rotation play on Rage ABC, after scoring ‘Indie clip of the week’ and has had radio airplay on Triple J, rotation play on triple J unearthed and Radar digital, as has their following singles ‘Morse Code and ‘Al Pacino’.
Doing it all 100% independently - No managers, no agents, and no label.
The long awaited debut EP from Sea Legs ‘We do what we do when we do what we do’ is finally here! Nationally released through MGM.
