Taking a rest from their folk past Zoë Gault and Andy Rawson have laid down their acoustics and taken up keyboards joining the new breed of bedroom producers. The result being the recent formation of Sydney based indie pop duo Ginger & Drum. Living in Sweden for 6 months Zoë developed a taste for subdued electro fuzz, driving beats and the silence of snow and forests.

Brought back from a dreamy ponder with Andy’s eclectic drumming style the pair’s subconscious challenges to find harmony within tangled contradiction; stark isolation vs. city hum, cavernous emotion vs. soaring melodies and of course folk vs. the rest.

Their first release last year received airplay on both Triple J and FBi, whilst plans to record their breakout EP in 2012 has their loyal followers breathing deep and wiping sweat from their brows.

This song creates its own little world, with those great-sounding synths and drum patterns. Really solid work here.

This is killer. Drugs have never seemed so cool. Fascinating production and a soaring vocal busting out a brilliant melody. Keep it up, Ginger & Drum!

Rangers are clearly the new blondes, and they mean business. Such great tunes coming from these two with incredibly catchy vocals and bop'able chorus...
