Jimmi Carr is a singer/songwriter from the Blue mountains in nsw who has been peprforming and recording with acoustic and electric bands since his early teens. Jimmi's music moves through Rock,Funk and folk/roots and has been described as "ben harperr meets Beck". He has a new album "Bright black sky"{Independent, distributed by vtamin} out now and has toured the east coast twice so far in 06 to support it.
Jimmi's 1st album {The recipe - 04} Recieved national airplay on trple j and radio national and out into asia on radio australia and the new album is also recieving strong radio support and reviews.
Jimmi has played alongside acts such as Hermitude {who also perform on the new album}, Lior, Xavier Rudd, Jeff Lang and Harry Manx. He and his band have played at major festivals and venues including The Basement, @ Newtown, the Troubadour {Bris} and Bar open {Melb} among hundreds of others.
Jimmi Carr & the undercover glow are a tight, professional and experiencced unit that easily move from intimate, lyrical tracks through to groove driven rock.

Hmmm, not the best of his work. A good foray into mixed genres but maybe tried to put too much into the track.

Take that for funk infused! Really agressive guitar and bass lines conjusre up RHCP and man, that thumpin kick drum! Will have to listen to more!
