December Scene is our floaty, dream-poppy and trumpety indie electronica band. We started out as a duo project that sought to combine Eric’s serene and lush soundscapes with Johan’s Swedish pop tendencies. However, recently we’ve experienced exponential growth and have come to include some tight live drumming, courtesy of Mr. Daniel Prakash; multi-instrumentalistation, thanks to wunderkid Kimothy Griffin; and bass grooves, springing from the mysterious depths of Italian death-metalist Stregatto.

We’ve just released our second self-produced EP, it’s called Tangents. It roughly corresponds to the feeling of being suspended in jell-o. Or being stuck in a tree, but happily so. We’ve also been working with Daddy Issues Productions, a collaboration that has thus far spawned two music videos that you can and should check out.

If you’re looking for a good soundtrack for the morning train ride, the evening kitchen-shuffle, or the mid-arvo bungee jump, then we’d highly recommend you give our music a whirl. Or better yet, come and shuffle and/or dance with us at a live venue near you (depending on where you live).
