Aitches are Brad (ex GameOver), Shaun, Joel and Matt and play melodic punk rock in the vein of Descendents or Bodyjar.

After releasing the ‘Trouble’ single in January 2012 to kind words from old and new friends Aitches unleashed their debut album ‘Stay in Bed’ in March 2012. With 15 tracks clocking in at under 33 minutes this record is a flat-out melodic punk blast from go to whoa. We’d like to think so anyway.

Aitches have been gigging solidly including winning the Triple J Unearthed Soundwave Festival competition for Melbourne and playing a storming set to open the days festivities. Aitches have also been a featured artist right here on Triple J Unearthed and had the song ‘Trouble’ played on Short.Fast.Loud & Home & Hosed.

A good riff, but an even better melody. And those subtle changes save the song from repetition. I love those bits where the guitar follows the vocals...

If you're a fan of melodic punk like Bodyjar or Descendents, then this is your band.

This reminds me of the good ol' days listening to Bodyjar and Pennywise. If that's still your thing or you need a nostalgia hit, highly recommend.
