Quite simply, we consider ourselves to be a surf band. And while that might form images in your mind of matching suits, nautical themes and guitar instrumentals... that’s not quite what we mean. Our place as a surf band includes elements of that background, for sure, but surf music has been present in every decade of rock’n’roll - and found itself intertwined with everything from spaghetti western soundtracks, to girl-group pop, to punk rock... and that’s what we mean.
In fact, this band is our way of filling a deficit in our own record collection... our way of taking surf music somewhere new and interesting that we, as music fans, want it to go. We’re writing the music we want to hear.
Dreams Of Home was chosen as our debut single based purely on common sense. It’s a single in the most traditional method. The Spector method. A hook in the verse, a bigger hook in the chorus, and a couple of riffs for breathing space. Get in and get out without labouring the point. A pop song.
“Their music is transcendental. There is no one label for this particular style of music... All three are naturals on stage and play with a clear familiarity which can only be borne from nights and nights of playing together. They were great to watch and left you with a breathless sense of being in the company of greatness.” - fasterlouder.com.au
“Those who were watching would have heard how bass is supposed to be played, may have scratched their heads trying to figure out what kind of music this was, and laughed at the facial expressions he pulled as Anthony tried to remember the new song that they were already half way through. Anyone who sees these guys play wishes they would play for longer.” - fasterlouder.com.au
“Go and see this band. Nothing you expect will be what you get, and what you get will be what you love.” - fasterlouder.com.au

Quite a catchy song, this one. Something about it reminds me of old school Australiana rock, aka Midnight Oil or Goanna. Sweet rollin' guitar solo to...
