Dave Di Marco has been a familiar name and voice within the local music scene for the past 5 years. Having spent the past few years making a name for himself as the front man of Brisbane Folk act “Charlie Mayfair”, Di Marco’s evolution into a solo artist since late 2012 has seen him release a debut single “Dublin”, and tour extensively up and down the East Coast, not only in support of this single, but also in support of Canada’s Half Moon Run and Sydney singer-songwriter Mark Wilkinson.

Heartfelt melodies and honest lyrics, Dave’s songs are carved from personal experiences of heartache, longing and redemption, but all with a glisten of hope. Likened to the styles of Damien Rice, Glen Hansard and Ray Lamontagne, his live performances are nothing short of raw emotion from the heart.

After a busy 6 months of recording and touring, Dave Di Marco now returns with his Debut EP “Deep and Down These Walls” and follow up single “Unfold”.

To celebrate the release, Dave will be venturing on his first Headline East-Coast Tour. This March will be your chance to see the young Troubadour light up the stage.

This man knows his way around a sweet melody, but this needed to lift or develop a bit more for me to be totally won over.
