We are Old Violet hailing from Bendigo.
We are a five piece constructed from as many mates each with different backgrounds, life experiances and musical influences, yet all holding a common flame for the same or similar artists contributing to the unique sound that is Old Violet...

With influences that consist of artists such as Something For Kate, Bon Iver, Kings of leon, City and Colour, Mutemath and even Foals... It's no surprise that the sounds that we have come to produce is one of Alternate Rock with hints of Indie Folk sound.

2013 will see Old Violet play at as many venues in different towns as possible to gain the experience and reputation that comes with being a great live band.

A stint in the recording studio with a result to be released before the mid year.
