Born in 2004, ILLZILLA had a vision to bring a new sound to Australia’s music scene by creating eclectic, original music with positive social messages.

Fronted with the skills of Mantra, ILLZILLA’S 4-piece rhythm section includes acclaimed reggae producer Mista Savona (Elefant Traks) on keyboards. Together they have forged a unique sound, which has seen them win the Triple J Unearthed competition (Dec.’06), perform at The Falls Festival, Pyramid Rock Festival and play along side artists like Mix Master Mike (Invisibl Skratch Piklz/Beastie Boys), Peanut Butter Wolf (Stones Throw), DJ Cash Money, The Herd and TZU.

ILLZILLA have reprinted their debut self titled EP (Distributed by Obese Records); it now contains remixes by DJ Wasabi and CHOI (True Live). Their long awaited debut LP is under construction….
