Fronted by the amazing Jono McNiel, "The Roast" have established themselves on the Perth music scene as one of the best live acts in town. With residencies at the Llama Bar in Subiaco, and the Universal Bar in Northbridge, they have built a strong following in the last twelve months. In the early days, the Funk Club played host to the band regularly, when they were playing covers of Tower of Power, James Brown, Stevie Wonder, and Michael Jackson. The writers of the group, Mathew Fagan, Andrew Murray, and Johannes Luebbers, have recently developed a repertoire of original funk material. The guys have just finished recording these tracks, and their first studio album is available for purchase!
