Christopher Coleman Collective captivates an audience with their melodic folk sound and stories that evoke warmth, humour and joy, to introspective sorrow, hardship and love.
'Dandelion Flower' and 'Sweet, Sweet Melody Part 1 & 2' are tracks from their debut EP 'Burnt Black Wood', the release was launched at MONA on Friday 15th March.
Following a summer of riches performing at the Falls Festival, Cygnet Folk Festival, The Taste Festival, and the Works Festival, Christopher Coleman Collective have quickly emerged into the public’s psyche and lead to The Mercury Newspaper naming the band as Number 10 in their ‘2012 Top Performers of the Year’ feature.
Their dynamic show has led them to support The Woohoo Revue, Eagle & the Worm, Sticky Fingers, and Jordie Lane.

'Sweet, Sweet Melody' is a fitting name for this song because it is in fact filled with sweet, sweet melodies. A great take on indie folk.
