Front man, 17 year old Jed has been writing and playing music for about three years non stop, travelling via planes/trains/buses/trams around Australia to get to his gigs whether it be busking on the streets. He takes advantage of his school holidays and has toured the mainland twice.

The young troubadour started off by busking and quickly made his way into the local music scene grabbing any support act he could. In march 2012, Jed took on his first headlining all ages gig, and had an overwhelming response of 150 people turning up playing with a trio.

Now what happened here was Jed felt a little lonely. So he made a trio, then a quartet, then a quintet, now it's a six piece. Who next? It still remains as Jed Appleton and the Quartet as we can't be bothered changing the name once more!

The lads have just been busy releasing their second EP "Comforts Flow" through November/December touring the state.

I like this a lot, actually. It still sounds a bit thin and in need of some fleshing out but the ideas are in the right place. Like the Kooks doing a...
