Australia has a way of bringing people from across the world together. Consisting of members originally from Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, and Wellington, upcoming Sydney band SWRLS is no exception. However, that's not to say they’re just like everybody else.
With apprenticeships playing in Dirty Secrets, Irrelevant Celebrities and Mercy Arms, SWRLS are truly a band worth looking out for. The group unintentionally came to be, in early 2012 when Richard & Thom Moore, alongside James Watroba, got together with some instruments and a laptop in a Darlinghurst apartment. The neighbors were thrilled.
Some six months later, SWRLS are now ready to share with you their debut single ‘Times’. Produced by the band with help from Evan McHugh at Turning Studios, the song is an ode to hazy mornings in bed, lazy afternoons down at the beach, and summer sunsets that seemingly stretch on forever…
