Reveiw from Rip It Up Magazine - 'Despite their background, they're not punk, they're not even really garage, they're not grunge, metal or girl-rock, but at the same time they're all of these. While it wouldn't be unfair to say that sometimes their influences can show, pure variety defeats any problems here as they seamlessly get together a range of styles.'From the upbeat and rocking 'girl-punk-rock' of the earlier tracks through some great use of double vocals with Bec and Billy pulling off a perfectly complimenting balance, then onto a few slower, more melodic songs. Amongst the slower moments is one of the real highlights, the quite brilliant Daddy's Girl; a Hole-esque tune worth of mainstream radio play (including guest lead guitar from Craig Stone, ex-Clowns of Decadence). But highlights are everywhere including Burnout, Moonshine and the simultaneously beautiful and raw, Wallow.

Always strong on the live scene, Toxic Shock have produced an album that more than backs up their performances. This is as close as you can get to an 'essential release' on the local scene.

NEW CD COMING OUT IN AUGUST!! - STAY TUNED!!
