Unearthed Artists We Like: Move to Strike


In the Adelaide Autumn of 2005 an outlet for creativity was born. Heartfelt lyrics penned down with refined sing-along melodies by singer/guitarist Jeremy Owen sparked to life the starting point for richly diverse melodic rock band, THE DIVIDE.

Closely knit, members include a husband, wife, brother and a friend, giving THE DIVIDE a unified drive and direction, both professionally and sonically. Having fulfilled their goal of recording a debut self-titled album in Adelaide's premier Mixmasters Studio, mastering in Studio 301's completed in mid 2006, THE DIVIDE is well on its way to achieving its musical aspirations.

Experience gained from previous successful rock acts LESSIE DOES and WAY BACK WHEN led to national tours, countless sold-out headlining shows at premier venues, national distribution through MGM, South Australian recording and marketing grants awarded, recording numerous EP's and singles, support shows for international and national acts and many more highlights.
