Described as "ostentatiously Oz in sound” Goldstein plays original tunes about modern suburban life in Australia - from tales of surfing and fishing to songs about renting and overseas package bus tours. The band from Adelaide has played at festivals across Australia including Port Fairy, the National Folk Festival and the Fleureiu Folk Festival while continuing to refuse drunken requests to play lame covers at dodgy front bar gigs. John Schumann from iconic Australian band Redgum has given his thumbs up, saying: “I love Goldstein’s songs. In a world of inconsequential, humourless songs delivered in pseudo-septic accents, Goldstein is like a gully wind at the end of a stiflingly hot day”.
