My musical interest began 20 years ago when I bought my first bass guitar after hearing The Cure's 'Faith' album. I was the bass player for the Perth-based funk/rock band Seahorse in the very early 90's. After Seahorse disbanded in 1993, I wrote a handful of songs with my high school buddy Darren Leigh (now based in South London). We recorded some of those songs on a 4-track Tascam (in Darren's lounge room) but never released any tracks officially, nor played live. After a 10 year hiatus, 2004 saw me struck by the music muse again. I recorded some new compositions using only my old acoustic guitar, an analogue 4-track and some effects and 'mastered' the results on my PC at home. In 2005 I made the move from analogue recording technologies to all digital. These last two years have seen me busy writing and recording in my home studio, with the end result being the CD 'August'. I am tentatively planning my second album with a projected release date of June 2008. We'll see? Cheers, Damian :-)
