Harlequin League
Genre: Rock, Indie
Region: Perth, WA
Members: Seb Astone, James Rogers, Ben Pooley, Chris James

After two acclaimed EP’s and high-rotation singles on national broadcaster Triple J (plus an Unearthed J Award nomination), countless national tours and an appearance at every W.A festival worthy of mention, Harlequin League are prepared to unleash the first single from their long-awaited debut longplayer, Charlatan.

Produced in the band’s hometown of Perth by Andy Lawson (Eskimo Joe, End of Fashion) and mixed in the U.K by lauded mix engineer Adrian Bushby (My Bloody Valentine, Foo Fighters, Muse), Charlatan is the first cut from Harlequin League’s debut album, and serves as an infectious introduction to the culmination of 4 years of writing and performing. Swirling, delay drenched guitar melodies wrap effortlessly around driving drums that fuela vocal tenacity that packs enough hooks to keep the Japanese whaling industry on their knees.

Harlequin League's debut album will be released nationally in late 2010.
